Privacy

Short, because the site does very little.

Your birthday stays on your device

Every date on this site is worked out by JavaScript running in your own browser. The birthday you pick is never sent anywhere, never stored, and never logged. There is no server to send it to: the site is a handful of static files.

No cookies, no accounts

The site sets no cookies and uses no local storage. There is nothing to sign into and nothing to opt out of. Close the tab and no trace of your visit is left behind.

Counting visits

Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not follow anyone between sites. It reports totals only: how many people opened a page, roughly which country from, and which site linked them here. None of that identifies anyone, and none of it is tied to the birthday you entered.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which serves the page and, like any web host, handles your IP address in order to do so. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Links out

Where this site links somewhere else, that site has its own policy, and this one stops applying at the click.

If this changes

If the site ever starts collecting more than it does today, this page changes with it, before the change goes live rather than after.
